BLV series liquid ring vacuum pumps are designed with a two-stage compression process to provide smooth pumping speeds over a wide range of vacuum levels, or to maintain high vacuum levels over a wide range of pumping rates. Efficiency at higher vacuum operating conditions is 35% to 40% higher than single-stage liquid ring pumps, with a corresponding reduction in energy consumption.
